智能交通系统建模和仿真(英)

This course mainly studies the fundamentals of intelligent transportation systems modeling and simulation with a special emphasis on the associated software design. It will first discuss the relationship between three parameters: velocity, density and rate of traffic flow. And it will examine some well known models for Mesoscopic-level and Microscopic-level traffic flow simulation, including Pipes model, Herman model, Bando model, Kikuchi-Chakroborty model, Nagel-Schreckenber model, Fukui-Islubashi model, Biham-Middleton-Levine model, etc. Based on these models, how to establish the Macroscopic-level traffic network simulations will also be discussed. Finally, it will address how to embed the real network-wide temporal-spatial traffic characteristics and agent-based human decision characteristics into traffic simulation.
