Assoc. Prof. Zhang and Wu’s Paper won the 18th IFAC’s Young Author Prize

Dr. Jing Zhang and Dr. Rebing Wu, both Associate Professors with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, won the Young Author Prize on the 18th World Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), one of the most important international conferences in the field of automatic control, which was held in Milan, Italy, on Aug. 28 to Sep. 2, 2011. The topic of their prize-winning paper is “Coherent Nonlinear Feedback Control of Quantum Systems with Applications to Quantum Optics on Chip”. This prize is awarded to only one paper on this triennial conference. It is the second time to win this prize by scholars from P. R. China, 18 years after the first time on the 12th IFAC World Congress held in Australia 1993.
