On March 29, 2024, Aaron Bobick, Dean of the James McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, led a delegation to visit the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University. Geng Hua, Vice Director of the Department of Automation, Zhao Hong, Foreign Affairs Coordinator, and Associate Professor Mo Yilin attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Mo Yilin.

Geng Hua extended a warm welcome to Aaron Bobick and his delegation. He introduced the history and development of the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, as well as the current status of disciplinary development, scientific research, student enrollment, international exchanges, and other aspects.
