The First International Symposium on Computational Biology with AI (iscbAI 2025) was held from May 30 to June 2, 2025, at Tsinghua University Southeast Asia Center in Bali, Indonesia. Organized by ISCB-China, the symposium brought together 60 leading experts and industry representatives from mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, the UAE, Indonesia, and beyond.

Cutting-Edge Research and Collaborative Discussions

The symposium explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in computational biology, featuring:

2 Keynotes and 38 Technical Presentations covering AI-powered protein structure prediction & design; precision medicine & biomarker discovery, foundational models for DNA/RNA/proteins, single-cell & spatial multi-omicsMicrobiome research & AI-driven health monitoring.

3 Panel Discussions on fostering regional collaboration in the Asia-Pacific amid evolving global dynamics. Attendees emphasized the need to strengthen academic ties within the Asia-Pacific region, reducing reliance on Eurocentric scientific exchanges.
