On November 6, 2024, Professor Karl Henrik Johansson from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, visited the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University. Professor Zhang Tao, the department chair, warmly welcomed Professor Johansson. During the visit, Professor Johansson was invited to give a seminar titled "Machine Learning components in Cyber-Physical Transport Systems." The seminar and subsequent discussions were attended by Professor Zhao Qianchuan, Director of the Center for Intelligent and Networked Systems, and Dr. Shen Zhen from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and approximately thirty faculty members and students. The seminar was hosted by Professor Jia Qingshan, Director of the Institute of Systems Engineering, Department of Automation.
