Beijing Key Laboratory of Multi-dimension & Multi-scale Computational Photography,TsinghuaIt was founded in June 2013 based on Tsinghua University and recognized by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Professor Dai Qionghai served as the director of the key laboratory, academician Gao Wen was specially appointed as the director of the academic committee, and Beijing Lingyun Light Technology Co., Ltd. was the co construction unit of the laboratory. Industry, academia, and research closely cooperate. Tsinghua University and Lingyun Company jointly established a laboratory to study international cutting-edge theories, break through key technologies, develop serialized equipment, and promote it. The laboratory aims at the international forefront of computational photography, conducts research around key areas of national and Beijing development such as intelligent manufacturing and virtual reality, builds key technology platforms and applications, and is committed to developing multi-dimensional and multi-scale computational photography instruments focusing on brain science imaging, VR/AR acquisition, and intelligent detection robots. It develops series of equipment, promotes its application in large enterprises, occupies the domestic market, and enters the international market.
The multi-dimensional and multi-scale computing camera laboratory, while realizing new imaging theoretical innovation and technological breakthrough, serves the urgent needs of major scientific issues such as brain science, breaks through bottlenecks such as low data flux and shallow Penetration depth, and carries out high-throughput cell level dynamic microscopic tomography research. For the first time, achieving centimeter level field of view and micrometer level resolution for observing life science dynamic processes. At the same time, as an important component of Beijing's scientific and technological innovation system and a supporting platform for the development of computing camera technology and industry, a batch of research achievements with independent intellectual property rights in basic theories and key core technologies have been formed around the major needs of the country and Beijing's industrial application. Through the combination of industry, academia, and research, scientific research achievements can be quickly and effectively transformed into enterprises, cultivating emerging technology chains and industrial chains.
The Energy Conservation and Efficiency Enhancement Intelligent Technology and Equipment Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education is an engineering research center established by Tsinghua University. It focuses on the current situation of "low efficiency, high energy/material consumption, poor product and service quality, low product added value, and serious environmental pollution" in industries such as chemical, power, microelectronics, steel, biological manufacturing, medicine/medical, light industry, new energy, and equipment manufacturing in China, With the goal of achieving energy conservation and efficiency enhancement, we will conduct research and development of key technologies and equipment, engineering verification, and achievement transformation in the fields of process simulation and optimization design, intelligent detection and control, optimization of the entire production process operation, clean utilization of low-grade energy, and intelligent equipment design and development for energy conservation and efficiency enhancement through interdisciplinary and close cooperation between industry, academia, and research. This center can provide technical support for improving the level of intelligent technology and equipment for energy conservation and efficiency enhancement in China, promoting the further realization of energy conservation, consumption reduction, emission reduction, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and transforming the economic growth mode in relevant industries in China.
The center's internal supporting departments are the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, and the co established departments include the Department of Energy and Power Engineering, the Department of Machinery, and the School of Materials. The center mainly relies on four national first level key disciplines, including Control Science and Engineering, Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
